Laminating

Depending on the material pairing and requirements, we use hot-melt lamination, reactive PUR hot-melt, flame lamination and thermal lamination — each with low-emission, solvent-free systems.

In lamination, flat or web-based material layers are bonded into a flexible composite. In wrapping, this composite is then applied to a finished, mostly three-dimensional substrate. Lamination is often the upstream production step.

Through precisely controlled pressure and temperature profiles as well as precise adhesive application, a homogeneous, bubble-free bond is ensured.

Yes, for large series we use automated systems with sensor-controlled monitoring of temperature, adhesive application and web speed to ensure high reproducibility.
